Utility billing and business licence reminders in respect of postal strike

In respect of the Canada Post strike, the City of West Kelowna is reminding customers of some important year-end billing information and online solutions, including how to check accounts, pay any balances owing on utility bills and renew business licences.

Brown Road closed for 2024 Light Up event this Friday

Get ready to celebrate! Our annual Light Up event is this Friday, Dec. 6.
On Friday, Dec. 6, Brown Road will temporarily close from 1:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., between Gossett Road and Main Street, for the event. The Electric Vehicle Fast Charging Stations in the Westbank Lions Community Centre east parking lot, accessed off Brown Road, will also be closed during this time.
The closure allows City crews, community groups and volunteers time to prepare, host and clean up....

West Kelowna Fire Rescue (WKFR) is collecting non-perishable food items and cash donations for the Central Okanagan Food Bank during its 27th Annual Holiday Food Drive. Firefighters are coming door-to-door throughout the community tonight and tomorrow evening.
Every $1 donated equals $4 in buying power for the food bank!

West Kelowna Fire Rescue (WKFR) is proud to partner once again with the Central Okanagan Food Bank to ensure no one goes hungry this winter during the 27th Annual Holiday Food Drive.
This year, WKFR will be collecting non-perishable food items and cash donations both door-to-door and at all four fire halls. In 2024, every $1.00 donated provides the foodbank with $4.00 in buying power!
